A-Team's Service Agreement

The following terms are applicable to both residential and commercial projects.

Deposits:

A-Team requires a deposit to reserve and initiate a start date on our schedule.

All deposit invoices will include 50% of the estimated labor cost and 100% of any materials costs.

"Tentative" start dates will not be honored if a deposit is not in place within a reasonable amount of time to allow for ordering, labor scheduling or any other necessary procurements for your project. 

If we don't have a deposit for your project, you don't actually have a start date.

The balance will be due on the day of completion of the services that are detailed on your deposit invoice and additional requested services will be billed separately.

Any deposit paid to A-Team constitutes an agreement to our terms.

Logistics:

We require reasonable access to a project at all times inside our hours of operations (9am-6pm). If you can't be available at all times between 9am-6pm, a lockbox will be secured to your property and an entry key will be in place at all times between 9am-6pm.

We require parking within 25 feet from the entry of your project 

We require running water

We require electricity

We require a bathroom/port-a-potty

We are not your employees. If you ask A-Team for additional work/time/help/services outside of an agreement - upon your approval, you will be billed at a rate of $75 per hour.

Estimated arrival and finish times are only a guide. There are many circumstances throughout a day that can cause a late or early arrival or finish time.

We do not move furniture of any kind. Referrals to a trusted moving company are furnished at your request.

We are not responsible for securing your pets before or for the duration of our involvement in your project.

If you schedule a start date with us and we show up at your project ready to work and are then, unable to begin the work (at no fault of our own), you will be responsible for a $150 trip fee.

Change Orders:

If your project requires more/less work or additional materials beyond what has been specified on your original agreement, we will stop work and revise the original agreement to reflect any changes regarding costs, processes, procedures and timelines.

With your approval of the change-order, our work on your project will continue.

Trade Stacking:

No other trades or DIY'ers are to be scheduled to work in the same area as, or block the specified parking area of A-Team.

No other trades, DIY'ers or homeowners are to leave tools, equipment, materials or trash anywhere A-Team has been contracted to perform. 

If a construction clean-up is deemed necessary in order for us to perform, we will offer you the option to empty the areas or to be charged for the clean-up.

If other trades, DIY'ers or homeowners are occupying areas that we have been contracted to perform in, we will cease work in those areas and once you have cleared the areas, our work in those areas will continue.

Any day that we are unable to perform relating to trade stacking will extend the timeline of your project and could result in additional fees or charges.

Trade Secrets:

A-Team will not devulge any trade secrets to anyone, at any time, for any reason. "Anyone" includes and is not limited to general contractors, builders, project managers, property managers, homeowners and renters. Our "trade secrets" include our suppliers, distributors, products, processes, methods of application, equipment, invoices, shipping costs, as well as, access to our sub-contractors.

Your support and cooperation regarding these terms will help us to perform at our peak and insure that our estimated timelines for our involvement in your project are met.

Your deposit is a legally binding agreement to our terms.
